If there is one country to visit in Asia, it would have to be Thailand. Nowhere else can you find the variety of exotic treats old Siam has to offer. The countryside is studded with ancient temples, rugged mountains, and peaceful waterfalls. Where else can you ride elephants, explore jungle temples and snorkel along the world's finest beaches?
BANGKOK's highlights include a vibrant culture teaming with food vendors preparing anything that grows, walks, crawls or swims. If you have an adventurous palate, Bangkok is for you. The city abounds in richly decorated monuments, decked out with gold, ceramic tile, mirrors and just about every shiny thing you can imagine. Even the cabs are vibrant. You will never find a city more colorful than Bangkok.
JUNGLE TEMPLES: As you pass through the Thai countryside, you will see brilliant colored modern temples soaring out of the jungles. Across the street, you may find the gray, white and brick of ancient monuments of bygone empires slowly crumbling as wind and weather take their toll. Thailand is living a contrast of the old and new.
BEACHES: The emerald waters and white sand beaches alone would be enough to bring many a traveled. Add to that the stunning cliffs of the karst formations along the Andaman Coast and you have picturesque beaches you will never forget. And if that weren't enough, there are islands surrounded by reefs teaming with all kinds of exotic underwater creatures to explore.
