Thai Coast |
| The Thai coast is truly spectacular. The beach at Railay is frequently ranked as the top beach in the world, thanks to the soaring karst cliffs that ring the sands. The cliffs are honeycombed with caves, and monkeys climb the trees, while the offshore reefs team with life. The islands could keep you busy for years, and if you like rock climbing, you'll never run out of new ascents to master. My favorite island is Ko Phing Kan ("rock leaning on itself") the setting for James Bond, the Man with the Golden Gun, but my favorite snorkel spot was Phi Phi Leh, the sight for the film The Beach |
