The Joshua Tree National Park is otherworldly. Covered with boulders, Charo Cactus and Joshua Trees, it's a strange oasis in the desserts between the Mojave and Mexico. Even more bizare is the Salton Sea, a landlocked ocean that was once home to ocean going fishes. Today, it's a incredibly productive Tilapia fishery.
