Huntington Mansion |
| Huntington Mansion is most noted for its library. Built by Henry Huntington, a railroad baron, the estate is the Versailles of LA with acres of gardens that include both a Chinese and a Japanese tea garden, a Japanese serenity garden, as well as European style scupltural gardens. The mansion itself houses a collection of European art, and there's a seperate American Art collection. Included in the library is an original Gutenberg Bible. There's also in indoor botanical garden, but perhaps the greatest displays are the cactus gardens and the bonzai trees. |
